Sowing
In Antalya Fide, sowing is made by two different types of sowing machines; one Urbinati and other Conic System. Substrate or rockwool can be used as growing media. The dimension of trays used are: 69,5 x 47 cm.
Five different types of trays are used in young plant production:
96 cell trays : Multi use, cell dimensions 4,7 x 4,7 x 6,0 cm
150 cell trays : Multi use, cell dimensions 4,0 x 4,0 x 5,5 cm
216 cell trays : Multi use, cell dimensions 3,0 x 3,0 x 5,5 cm
384 cell trays : Single use, cell dimensions 2,5 x 2,5 x 4,0 cm
384 cell trays : Single use, circle cells, cell dimensions Ø2,5 x 3,0 cm (rockwool)
600 cell trays : Single use, cell dimensions 1,9 x 1,9 x 4,0 cm
